Zorkout is a customizable, real-time sports dashboard for Apple Watch. Where most workout apps are iPhone apps with a watch companion, Zorkout is built the other way around: athletes design their dashboard on the iPhone from more than 50 metrics — heart rate and zones, pace, speed, power, cadence, distance, calories, elevation and more — and the watch shows exactly that, big and readable, during the session.
Its proprietary swing analysis reads the motion of the watch itself to give tennis and padel players swing speed, spin and slice, forehand and backhand counts, rally count and a session score — no sensor on the racket. Live maps with retrace and a live elevation profile cover runners, cyclists and hikers, and custom sports let users track anything they can time.
Zorkout is free on the App Store, with an optional Pro subscription, and is available in nine languages. It is developed by Zysco, an independent Franco-American studio based in Ladera Ranch, California.

Its roots go back to 1993 as an Apple Newton reseller in France; it has been building apps for iPhone since 2008 — one of the first 3,000 apps on the App Store — and has shipped more than 30 iOS and Android apps, including Zorkout, Mapsiti and PowerHouz.

Racket-sport analytics usually means a $100+ clip-on. Zorkout reads the Apple Watch's own motion sensors to break down swing speed, spin and slice, forehand vs. backhand and rally count — live, on the wrist, during the match.
The app inverts the usual model: the iPhone is the design surface, the watch is the product. It is a case study in what a wrist-native training screen looks like when readability at speed is the only priority.
Padel, pickleball, snowboarding, court sports with odd scoring — Zorkout's custom sports and 100+ templates let athletes build a dashboard for activities that have no native watchOS template.

Denis Zysman is the founder of Zysco, a Franco-American indie software studio, and the creator of Zorkout. He has been building iPhone apps since 2008 and led Agile transformation for a 2,000-person IT organization at Southern California Edison before returning to product full-time. He is also the co-founder of iDuerp and OSHAid, AI-assisted workplace-safety apps for the French and US markets. Bilingual in English and French, he is based in Ladera Ranch, California.

Write it Zorkout — one word, capital Z, no camel case. In running text the app can be called “Zorkout” or “the Zorkout app”.
The palette is the heart-rate zone gradient from the watch face — green through yellow and orange to red — on near-black.

Do use the logo on dark or black backgrounds, at 120 px wide or more, with clear space equal to the height of the “Z” on all sides.
